Early on, Bruce played with the George Sauerwein Big Band and was in many musicals. After a long hiatus, he joined the Gem City Jazz Ensemble, Bay City Brass Quintet, and the Gem City Concert Band. In addition to "The Port," Bruce is currently playing with all three other bands.

Lead male vocalist Paul Yoculan Younger had a long, rich history in the music industry. His band, The Epics, was a regular at the famed Peppermint Lounge in the 60s. The band’s story was one of the inspirations for the film, “That Thing You Do.” Paul was also lead vocalist for the hugely popular Erie band, The Younger Brothers and the original Ruby Port back in the 1970s.
Lead female vocalist, Jessi Lenea, is a well known personality in the Erie music scene. Her powerful renditions of classics by Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner and other female artists have provided Jessie the opportunity to perform with some of Erie's best bands, and we're delighted to have her back on our front line!
Guitarist and vocalist Dick Buckel, another original member of Ruby Port, has shared billing with George Strait, the Righteous Brothers, Lee Greenwood, and Paul Revere and the Raiders. He has made a mark locally with bands such as the Cows, Wave, Mercy, and Crosstown Rhythm &Blues.
Bass player and vocalist, Bob Seaman, has been a rhythmic anchor for some of Erie’s finest bands, including String Theory, Abbey Road and Stiletto. Bob is also an original member of Ruby Port and is our go to guy when we perform some of the most incomparable hits on our playlist; we're talking about The Beatles, of course!
Trombone player and vocalist Peter Natalie rounds out the band’s spot-on horn section and is another original member of Ruby Port. Pete's been representing The Stones' catalog in the band's playlist since our inception; his lively renditions of these pop classics are always well received by our many longtime fans!
Trumpet player Dale Zimmerman, who writes all the horn charts for Ruby Port, has played with the Duke Ellington Band, Frankie Valee and the Four Seasons, the Temptations, the Four Freshmen, Ringling Brothers, and many local bands.
Saxophonist Dudley Brown has played in numerous jazz and concert bands and also was an original member of Chicago cover band 25 or 64.
Joe has shared the stage with Blood Sweat and Tears, Triumph, Jerry Seinfeld, Johnny Rivers, The Ink Spots, and many others. He has toured extensively and recorded in some of the finest studios including the Village Recorder in Los Angeles and Agency Recording Studio in Cleveland.
